Memorial Day BBQ and Fun Run

Bring your running shoes and a dish to share for a Memorial Day cookout at Michelle L-C’s place! I will be making burgers and hot dogs on the griddle! Bring your own drinks and lawn chairs. Before we eat we will run the Woodland Mile (the segment is one mile - run a second mile to get back to the house) There will be prizes for the winners! Details coming.

We're excited to volunteer at the 2024 Salisbury and Half Marathon! This fantastic opportunity to support the running community and show our club spirit.

Date: April 5, 2024
Time: 7:15 am - 1:45 pm
Location: Water Stop #5 at Riverside Drive and Woodland Road

As volunteers, we'll support the runners and ensure they have everything they need to finish. We'll prepare and distribute food products (granola bars, gel), water, and Gatorade. There are portable bathroom facilities at our stop. We'll pour and hand out cups filled with water, Gatorade, and a few solid food items to energize the runners.

Your help will significantly increase the marathon's success. It's a great way to give back, meet new friends, and have fun with Eastern Shore Running Club.

Join ESRC on Sat, Oct. 19, at 1 p.m. at the Salisbury University football game against Montclair State University.
Tickets are available at the door and prices are as follows (updated):

General Admission - $10
Non-SU Students/SU Alumni - $7
Children (Ages 5-12) - $5
Children (Under Age 5) - FREE
SU Students, Faculty, Staff - FREE with valid ID

Sea Gull Stadium is located on Wayne Street across Route 13 from the Salisbury University main campus.

Volunteer with ESRC at the 5k Hero Run

We're looking for 5-6 enthusiastic volunteers to help us at the finish line for our upcoming race! ESRC will be providing the race timing, with Vanessa managing this aspect, but we need additional support to ensure a smooth and successful event.

  • Race Start Time: 9:00 am

  • Volunteer Arrival:

    • Setup Crew: 8:00 am

    • Additional Volunteers: 8:30 am

  • Estimated End Time: 10:00 am

Volunteers will assist with managing the finish line area, cheering on runners, and helping to ensure a seamless flow as participants complete the race. If you're available, please sign up and be part of the excitement!

ESRC Fourth of July Run

Join the Eastern Shore Running Club for our annual Fourth of July run from Vanessa and Mike's house. Join the group for a four-mile run, then enjoy some refreshments afterward. Feel free to bring something to share if you wish.
